COLTMAN MUSIC COMPETITION

March 4 -5 | Butler School of Music

Join us for the live Semi-Final and Final rounds of the 10th Annual Coltman Competition! Saturday, March 4 will feature remarkable musicians from around the country in the live semi-final rounds. Ensembles may include woodwind quintets, string quartets, piano trios, and other ensembles mixed with winds, strings, brass, and piano. The final rounds will take place on Sunday, March 5. The competition takes place at the University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music and admission is free!

Launched in 2010, the annual nationwide Coltman Chamber Music Competition provides performance experience and expert commentary to advanced applicants. Winners of the competition are offered a cash prize in addition to multiple performance opportunities including a broadcast on KMFA Classical 89.5.
