AUSTIN GAY MEN'S CHORUS
A NOT-SO SILENT NIGHT
DECEMBER 5, 6, & 7 | FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF AUSTIN
This holiday season, silence is overrated.
The Austin Gay Men’s Chorus invites you to A Not-So Silent Night: Fierce, Fabulous, and Full of Light. A night where tradition meets transformation, where candlelight glows beside glitter, and where our unapologetically queer joy takes center stage.
A Not-So Silent Night isn’t just a concert - it’s a celebration of everything that makes the holidays shine brighter when we share them together: timeless carols reimagined, pop anthems with attitude, and voices raised in fierce harmony. Every note sparkles, every laugh shimmers, every tear catches the light.
At its heart is Where the Light Begins, reminding us that the truest glow of the season isn’t something you hang on a tree - it’s the brilliance we carry within ourselves, set free when we come together as a community.
That brilliance shines across four performances:
Friday, December 5 at 8 PM; Saturday, December 6 at 4 PM and 8 PM; and Sunday, December 7 at 4 PM.
One hour before each show, our doors open to a preshow happy hour with cocktails, mocktails, and light bites - the perfect way to gather, toast, and slip into the sparkle of the evening ahead. And for a little extra holiday magic, Santa himself will be in the lobby before the Friday and Saturday performances for festive photos and cheer.
This won’t be a silent night - it will be ours. So don your sequins, gather your chosen family, and join us for a holiday night that’s anything but silent - radiant, rebellious, and absolutely fabulous.

We perform across the city, collaborate with artists and organizations locally and nationally, and represent Austin within the GALA Choruses network.
