Sam Lipman's Trumpet Concerto + A New Release: Griot Songs by Omar Thomas-From the Draylen Mason Music Studio, Sam Lipman and Ephraim Owens talk with Dianne about their collaboration on, Lipman's Trumpet Concerto, which was commissoned by Lynne Dobson and Greg Wooldridge and will have its world premiere with the Austin Symphony Orchestra February 21; plus, they'll play an excerpt of the piece.  Composer, Omar Thomas discusses his brand new release Griot Songs, which was released on February 7.
