We continue our 2019-2020 broadcast season of Austin Symphony concerts with "Spectres," recorded in October at The Long Center. On the program is Cesar Franck’s Le Chasseur maudit (The Accursed Huntsman), Camille Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto No. 1 in A Minor with renowned Canadian cellist Matt Haimovitz as the guest soloist, and Hector Berlioz’s dramatic and dark Symphonie fantastique. Maestro Peter Bay conducts the orchestra in this broadcast of the Austin Symphony Orchestra. KMFA’s Jeffrey Blair hosts. We hope you’ll join us!
