This week on Film Score Focus we're comparing and contrasting two new pairs of films in an ongoing series dubbed, "Anatomy of a Remake." Older movies are being retold by new directors at an unprecedented rate. This is fantastic for cinema and for film music as well. Art demands that it be reformed, reshaped, reimagined, and reintroduced into society by new artists and cinema is no exception. This is sure to be one very eclectic program.
