This week on Film Score Focus we're paying tribute to a titan of cinema. On July 16, 2017, the entertainment mourned the loss of the father of the modern zombie film, Mr. George Romero. Although he didn't invent the zombie, everything we recognize about what zombies are, how they act, move, function, and scare us, came from the imagination of George Romero. He was an excellent filmmaker, a wonderous storyteller, and a superlative human being who would always sign autographs for any fans who asked. The cinematic world will never be the same. RIP George Romero.
