Benjamin Britten’s namesake work gives this concert its title, and will be complimented by other exceptional, upbeat arrangements of holiday favorites. We’ll perform original works by local composer Adrienne Inglis (flutist of Chaski), highlight solo performances by this exceptional local duo, and even offer a singalong opportunity or two!

This holiday season, we are encouraging guests to bring a pair of clean, new socks to donate to Austin’s unhoused population. Panoramic will be working with a local non-profit to distribute your donations to those in need as we approach the coldest part of the year. More information will be sent prior to concerts!

As always, Panoramic guarantees a good time, complete with festive snacks and refreshments, delightful visuals, audience participation, and the very best of company! But don’t take our word for it—join us this December and kick of your holiday PANO-style.

VIP ticket holders have the benefit of early entry to choose and save seats. Once General Admission entry has started, all seats are available to all guests—It is your responsibility to use the VIP early-entry perk to save your seat!

Full refunds will be offered up through Thursday, December 12. We cannot accommodate refunds after this point.

GETTING TO THE CONCERT:
Paid parking is available on the premises. As with all downtown locations, street parking is also available (but limited) for pay. We encourage all who are able to use ride share services, as we know it will be a busy time of year.

ABOUT OUR GUEST ARTISTS:
With its eclectic, genre-bending virtuosity, Chaski reinvents the sound of a classical flute/harp duo. Adrienne Inglis (flutes) and Shana Norton (harps) performed their first concert together in April 1985, in Kerrville, Texas. Since then, they have performed across miles and miles of Texas, from sea to shining sea, and occasionally in places that require a passport.

Chaski has honed a distinctive style that fuses their roots in classical music with a whole world of flute/harp traditions. Their concerts showcase an eye-popping array of instruments and a colorful mix of musical styles. You might hear a Bolivian huayño played on panpipes, a Scottish strathspey featuring penny whistles, the premier performance of a newly commissioned work, or a spoken-word piece that flows seamlessly into its musical counterpart.

Now approaching their 40th anniversary season, Chaski’s shares programs from their time-tested repertoire, from newly written music, and from their own fresh settings of traditional tunes. The duo’s engaging musicality connects with audiences young and old, in venues from concert halls to coffee shops.
