Artistic Directors Geoffrey Herd and Anna Petrova present a recital crafted in collaboration with renowned Yale Musicologist Paul Berry. The program centers around Brahms’ Violin Sonata No. 1 in G Major, Op. 78. Before the concert, Berry, a respected Brahms scholar, will explore the political and personal implications of Brahms’ writing, illustrated by musical examples.

ATX Music not only donates 10% of its seating capacity to students and their chaperones, but also regularly presents its world-renowned artists in schools, youth, and retirement centers, free of charge, to ensure our entire community can experience great music.
