DOT DOT DOT CONNECT AND AUSTIN POLISH SOCIETY PRESENTS:

THE MUSIC OF MY SOUL

 SEPTEMBER 14 | 6:30 P.M. | KMFA'S DRAYLEN MASON MUSIC STUDIO

Join us for a Saturday evening piano concert filled with soul-stirring melodies and harmonies. After the concert, meet the artist and mingle with other lovers of Romantic classical music while enjoying Polish cuisine refreshments and a glass of wine.

All this at a beautiful Austin east side venue in the KMFA 89.5 event space, 41 Navasota St, Austin, TX 78702.

The performer, a wonderful pianist and professor of Musical Arts at the University of Silesia, Michal Korzistka, is visiting from Poland with a repertoire featuring works by Chopin, Szymanowski, and a contemporary Polish composer, Jacek Glenc.

The event is co-organized by two local nonprofits, Dot Dot Dot Connect and Austin Polish Society. A local award-winning catering company, Apolonia Catering, will provide more taste of Poland!

Dot Dot Dot Connect's mission is to connect people through art.

We provide a meeting place for diverse communities to experience art together. We create opportunities for local Austin area artists to connect with artists from around the world.

We look for and create connections between different art fields and seek to collaborate with groups devoted to promoting film, music, visual arts, and healthy living to the community.

We strongly believe that art is the connective tissue across cultures, borders, and human-made divisions and is the creative power for the good. Our personal experiences as immigrant women are the driving force behind our mission.

 

Austin Polish Society is a Texas non-profit organization established in 2005 dedicated to furthering knowledge of Polish culture, traditions, history, language, arts, current affairs, and local events.
