Join us for an evening of music as chamber ensembles from the ACO present an evening of chamber music . Ensembles from two to four players will be featured on stage for an exciting evening of live chamber music.

Ensembles:

• Piano Trio:  Lan Kratzke, David Kaplan and Christian Fallows playing Selections from Carmen Suite No. 1 & 2 by Georges Bizet, arranged for 6 hands by Ernest Guiraud
• String Quartet
  • Jordan Jhaveri, Naomi Martens, Violin; Tyler Chen, Viola; David Miller Cello playing Astor Piazzola’s Four for Tango
  • Mathew Moore, Vastian Sitler, Violin; Jamie Mager, Viola, Apolinar Romero, Cello playing the first movement of Smetana’s String Quartet No. 1 in E minor
• String Trio: Ray Garcia, Violin; Brett Osburn, Viola, Jen Hwo, Cello playing the first movement of Beethoven String Trio in C minor, Op 9 No 3
• Piano Quartet: Carolyn Richards-Chacon, Violin, Mark Leger, Viola; Jarrod Tuikka, Cello; David Kaplan, Piano playing the 3rd movement of Schumann’s Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op.47
• Violin Duo:  Raymond D’Alessio and Tavia Ewen playing Gardel’s Por un Cabeza,  Coldplay’s Viva la Vida, and Ungar’s Ashokan Farewell
• Percussion Quartet:  JJ Pereira, Kyle Garza, Alex Willhelm, Alan Smith playing Anthony Cirone’s  4/4

• Name: Austin Civic Orchestra

The Austin Civic Orchestra (ACO) is a non-profit civic organization that has been around since 1977. The ACO is devoted to bringing high quality music to the community and providing a musical outlet for professional and non-professional musicians alike. The ACO performs six to eight concerts each season, all of which offer programming to suit a wide variety of musical tastes, from traditional classics to pops and most everything in between. Presented at assorted convenient locations in the Austin area, the relaxed atmosphere and affordable cost have proven appealing to this community.
