Austin composer Nathan Felix and this year's Draylen Mason Composer-in-Residence Sophie Mathieu have co-curated KMFA's 2nd Annual Unofficial SXSW Contemporary Classical Day Party in the Draylen Mason Music Studio on Saturday, March 9 from Noon to 6:00 p.m.
Enjoy free music throughout the afternoon by local contemporary classical artists including Akins Sinfonietta Orchestra, Austin Percussion Collective, Esteban Alvarez, Jessy Eubanks, Density512, Maru, Middle Sattre, Khalo Quartet + James Tecuatl-Lee, Panoramic Voices, Perpetual Motion, Kimberly Sandoval, Mago Sextet, and other special guests.

KMFA 89.5 is an independent public classical radio station in Austin, TX. Established in 1967, KMFA serves approximately 120,000 listeners each week and features locally produced shows like Classical Austin, Early Music Now, and From The Butler School, as well as nationally distributed programming from Public Radio International, American Public Media, and National Public Radio.
