COLTMAN COMPETITION

FINALS

March 2 & 3, 2024 | UT Butler School of Music

Named after Austin Chamber Music Center founder, Felicity Coltman, the Coltman Chamber Music Competition provides performance experience and expert commentary to advanced chamber ensembles along with cash prizes and performance opportunities.

The competition invites exceptional ensembles from across the country to Austin to compete for cash prizes and performance opportunities. The application will open on December 1. Opportunities available to compete, volunteer, sponsor, advertise, and attend!

The 11th Annual Coltman Competition will be held in person on March 2 & 3, 2024 at The University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music.

Friday, December 1, 2023 - Online applications open

Wednesday, December 20, 2023 - Submission deadline for all application materials for both the Junior and Senior Division Categories at 11:59 PM (CST). No application refunds will be given once a submission has been made.

Week of January 29, 2024 - Applicants notified of pre-screening audition results

Saturday, March 2, 2024 - Live semi-final rounds (open to the public)

Sunday, March 3, 2024 - Live final rounds (open to the public)
