Join us at Armstrong Community Music School for a free open house and festival this Summer! Stop by our building at 404 Camp Craft Road on July 29 to try out our programming and meet teachers, some of Austin's finest musicians.

9:30 AM: Family music class

10:30 AM: Headline performance of "Peter and the Wolf" by Prokofiev performed by piano faculty member Marina Magazinnik with narration by ACMS Executive Director and Voice Faculty member Liz Cass

• Name: Armstrong Community Music School

Armstrong Community Music School offers exciting opportunities to learn the joys of music for students of all ages and skill levels, from early childhood to adult. As a nonprofit organization, we provide lifelong access to the musical arts through instruction and performance for all, regardless of age, skill, race, ethnicity, or income.

The community music school offers instruction in virtually every music style: classical, jazz, as well as blues, folk and a variety of musical styles from world cultures.

Ongoing programs at the Armstrong Community Music School include early childhood classes such as Music Together® for infants, toddlers and preschoolers with a caregiver. Group piano classes, called Music for Little Mozarts, provide instruction for 4, 5, and 6 year olds.

Individual music instruction is available for all ages in piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar, bass guitar, lute, flute, electronic composition, recording engineering and more.
