About
THE AUSTIN SCHOOL FOR PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS PRESENTS:
AN EVENING OF ART
WITH RYAN DELAHOUSSAYE
Jan 28 | Austin School for Performing & Visual Arts
Guests will enjoy a cocktail party and great music by incredibly gifted student and professional performers to benefit arts education!
Performances by:
Da Capo
After 25 years of touring as the Rock violinist with Multi Platinum artists Blue October, Ryan Delahoussaye has spent the last few years finding his long ago roots of classical beginnings in his release of Da Capo. With long time friend and collaborator Charlie Magnone, Ryan’s somewhat autobiographical music was set to pen and paper. Then out of inspiration, was set to tape. Thus Da Capo, A Book of Music was born.
Arnold Yzaguirre
A classical guitarist performer and teacher for the Austin School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Arnold is also Austin Classical Guitar’s event manager where he works with 30,000 classical guitar patrons annually. He is also an artist for Austin Lullaby Project, a professional collaboration with Austin Classical Guitar and Carnegie Hall Weill Institute.
Cheyla White
White is a former ASPVA student and our voice coaches agreed it’s not everyday you get to teach someone with a voice like hers. With a natural flair on stage and a beautiful voice, Cheyla was selected to compete in American Idol. She continues to challenge herself with a variety of music genres while preparing for college.
