OUTSIDE VOICES

Outside Voices is a new concert series bringing operatic and classically trained voices and musical collaborators to the public for free. These concerts are appropriate for all ages. LOLA is honored to have the support of Waterloo Greenway in bringing this concert to the Symphony Square Amphitheatre in beautiful downtown Austin, TX. Folks are encouraged to bring pillows and blankets for comfort in sitting in the amphitheater space, picnics are also encouraged. Complimentary beverages will be available including craft beer from our sponsor, 4th Tap Brewery!

Schedule

  • May 15th @ 2 pm – An afternoon of music by power couple Kimberly and Carlos Monzon!
  • June 26th @ 7:30 pm - Lardo Weeping Preview and Panel. An evening of music and discussion about LOLA’s commissioned work and new chamber opera by Peter Stopschinski and Terry Galloway. Lardo Weeping will premiere in its entirety August of 2022.
  • July 10th @ 7 :30 pm – Program TBA

Our projects give artists unique and interesting outlets for their work, pull in diverse audiences, and propel opera out of the grand hall, flowing into the larger community.
