KMFA'S MIDDAY SERIES PRESENTS:
STEFAN JACKIW AND ENSEMBLE ATX
REFRACTION: BETWEEN LIGHT AND SOUND
KMFA Classical 89.5 welcomes internationally acclaimed violinist Stefan Jackiw and Ensemble ATX to the Draylen Mason Music Studio for our free Midday Music series on Thursday, September 10 at 12pm.
Jackiw is joined by Geoffrey Herd, violin; Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt, viola; Christine Lee, cello; and Anna Petrova, piano, for an intimate preview of ATX Chamber Music and Jazz’s 2026–27 Opening Night concert, Refraction: Between Sound and Light.
The Between Sound and Light concert, featuring Stefan Jackiw and Ensemble ATX, will take place Saturday, September 12 at The Mansion in Austin as the Opening Night of ATX Chamber Music and Jazz’s 2026–27 season.
This preview concert at KMFA’s Draylen Mason Music Studio is free and open to the public with an advance RSVP.
