To benefit a women's hospital in UGANDA.
Uganda Fistula Fund in Seattle, is partnering with Terrewode, a non-profit organization in Uganda, to build a dedicated women's hospital offering fistula repair surgery, medical care, rehab, education and family planning services to help prevent and end the suffering caused by obstetric fistula. The facility will be the first of its kind in Uganda and is modeled after the sucessful Hamlin Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia.

Please join us to hear Sara sing and to learn more about this hospital, the first of its kind in Uganda. Alice Emasu, the co-founder of Terrewode and Sharon Howe, the co-founder of Uganda Fistula Fund, will both speak.

Presenter Details

    Sara Hickman is a captivating singer, songwriter and recording artist who is an avid supporter and servant for numerous charities that benefit children, women, refugees, the homeless and countless other humanitarian causes. In 2010, she was named Texas State Musician of the Year. Sara has released over 15 albums, including a half dozen on major record labels and a few independent albums.
