PANORAMIC VOICES PRESENTS

ALL THIS JOY

Sunday, October 16 at 4:00 p.m. | Central Machine Works Brewery

Join Panoramic Voices for the inaugural concert of our 25th Anniversary Season on Sunday, October 16 at Central Machine Works Brewery and Beer Hall! All This Joy is an homage to the little experiences that make us human, and the ways in which being part of a community enhances them. Repertoire is a fun, upbeat mix of pop, movie music, spirituals, and more, accompanied by drums, bass, guitar, and sax.

TICKETS

Because Central Machine Works is open to the public, tickets do not need to be purchased for All This Joy. However, guests are asked to consider a donation in lieu of a ticket purchase to help Panoramic Voices continue to provide exceptional choral experiences to all who wish to join! The suggested donation for All This Joy is $20, but any gift of any amount will be gratefully accepted!

Your donation does not save a “seat” at Central Machine. Space is ample, but come early for the best selection of seating!

A gift of any size allows us to continue to offer high-quality music experiences to anyone who wishes to sing with us! Your donation helps cover venue, music, and staff costs. Thank you for supporting Panoramic Voices!

  • Name: Panoramic Voices
  • Panoramic Voices is an adventurous choral collective that thrives on a “music without borders” approach to music making. With collaborations spanning all genres from classical, country, rock, hip hop, and beyond, PV has worked with a dizzying array of artists such as Mobley, Roky Erickson, Carson McHone, Calliope Musicals, Zeale, and Grammy Award-winners Roomful of Teeth. The commissioning of new works has also been an important part of Panoramic Voice’s mission, resulting in the premiere of compositions by Pulitzer Prize-winner Caroline Shaw, Wilco’s Glenn Kotche, Austin luminary Graham Reynolds, and many more.

The ensemble has been widely recognized for its artistic endeavors, including “Best Choral Performance” from the Austin Critics’ Table, a cover story on Chorus America’s “The Voice” magazine, and regular listing among the Austin Chronicles “Top 10 Treasures.” In 2014, the Austin Chronicle dubbed Artistic Director Brent Baldwin “Best Choral Wrangler” in its “Best of Austin” awards. The Austin American Statesman has hailed the group’s work as “always adventurous.”

In service to the greater Austin arts community, Panoramic Voices regularly partners with charitable organizations like the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), SIMS, and Kids In a New Groove (KING) to provide support to the well-being of Austin artists.
