If the main parking lot is full, additional parking is available behind the brewery. Turn in off of Springdale close to Airport at Dimension Gallery and go all the way back past Brothers Produce to the back lot. There is a paved walkway around the right side of the building to the front entrance.

- Name: Akshaya Avril Tucker
Akshaya Avril Tucker (b.1992) is a composer, cellist and Odissi dancer, whose work is greatly inspired by the music and dance traditions of South Asia. Her music has been performed by the Refugee Orchestra Project at National Sawdust (Brooklyn, NY), and by Vent Nouveau, Johnny Gandelsman and Joshua Roman. She is a 2017-2018 Composer Fellow at the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music, collaborating with Duo Cortona. Upcoming commissions include works for Bay Area cellist Robert Howard, and UT’s alumni string quartet, invoke. Akshaya holds an M.M. in Composition from the University of Texas at Austin (2018), where she studied composition with Yevgeniy Sharlat, Russell Pinkston, Donald Grantham and Dan Welcher, and Hindustani music with Stephen Slawek. She holds a B.A. in Music from Brown University (2015), where she received the Madeira Award and a Brown University Distinguished Senior Thesis Award. Alongside her twenty years of dance training with Guru Ranjanaa Devi, Akshaya has performed Odissi worldwide with Nataraj Dance Company and at National Sawdust in 2018. In 2014, she received two grants from Brown to study Hindustani music on cello in India. In 2017, she received a Rainwater Innovation Grant from the University of Texas to collaborate with acclaimed Hindustani vocalist Saili Oak. In 2018, she received honorable mentions from National Sawdust’s Hildegard Competition and the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Awards. Akshaya regularly performs on cello with Density512 in Austin, TX, and is Programs Manager at Shastra, an organization dedicated to connecting the musical communities of India and the West.
